Welcome to AV Food Truck Finder

Good food in the Antelope Valley doesn't always stay in one place. Now it has one place to find it.

Welcome to the first issue of AV Food Truck Finder, a free weekly guide to the trucks serving Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill and the rest of the valley. Every Monday, we'll tell you where trucks are scheduled to park, which truck nights and markets are still running, and which local trucks deserve a try.

The big summer truck nights are on break, but the trucks are still rolling. This week: a different truck every night at a Palmdale brewery, the last two BLVD Markets of the season, and how truck owners can get on our live map for free.

THIS WEEK'S LINEUP: A NEW TRUCK EVERY NIGHT IN PALMDALE

Lucky Luke Brewing's Palmdale taproom posts a food truck schedule nearly every day of the week. It's one of the easiest ways to try a different truck each night. The taproom is at 610 W. Avenue O, Suite 104, Palmdale.

Mon, Oct. 19: Weary Bones Butter Burgers, 4–8:30 p.m.
Tue, Oct. 20: La Tropa Loca, 4–8:30 p.m.
Wed, Oct. 21: Infernal Tacos, 4:30–9:30 p.m.
Thu, Oct. 22: Big Belly Pizza, 4:30–9 p.m.
Fri, Oct. 23: Superbowl Sushi, 5:30–10:30 p.m.
Sat, Oct. 24: No truck. The taproom is closed for a private event.
Sun, Oct. 25: Antojitos Azteca, 2–7 p.m.

Looking ahead: Smash Bros is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29, and Hi Thai Street Food for Friday, Oct. 30.

Schedules come from the taproom's posted calendar and can change. Check Lucky Luke's Palmdale events page before you go. The taproom serves beer, so check its age policy if you're bringing kids.

TRUCK NIGHTS & MARKETS STILL RUNNING

🌮 The BLVD Market, Lancaster: last two Thursdays. The City of Lancaster's weekly market on The BLVD runs 4–9 p.m. between Fern and Ehrlich avenues, and the season ends Oct. 29. That leaves this Thursday, Oct. 22, and next Thursday. Market details from the City of Lancaster

🚚 Wednesdays at the Trucks, Palmdale. This weekly truck night is listed at the Palmdale Auto Mall, 39050 Carriage Way, on Wednesdays from 4 to 9 p.m. We haven't seen a current lineup, so check the event listing before you head over.

😴 On break until next season: Lancaster's Monday Night Bites, Palmdale's Yellen Night Bites and Quartz Hill's Family Night Bites. We'll tell you the minute they're back.

ON THE MAP: SUGAR RUSH SHAVED ICE

Sugar Rush Shaved Ice

Desert afternoons and shaved ice go together. Sugar Rush Shaved Ice is one of the first trucks on the AV Food Truck Finder map, serving shaved ice and other sweet treats in the Lancaster area.

Like every truck, Sugar Rush moves around, so the listed address isn't a promise it's parked there today. The truck posts its stops and specials on Instagram and Facebook, and you can find it on our live Hot Spots map.

OUR FALL GUIDE TO AV FOOD TRUCKS

Food trucks are still rolling in the Antelope Valley this fall, even after the big summer truck nights wrapped.

In Palmdale, Wednesdays at the Trucks is listed at the Palmdale Auto Mall on Wednesdays from 4 to 9 p.m., and The BLVD Market runs Thursdays in Lancaster through Oct. 29.

Lancaster's Monday Night Bites, Palmdale's Yellen Night Bites and Quartz Hill's Family Night Bites are all on break until next season, and the AV Taco Festival returns June 5, 2027.

Because trucks move every day, the live Hot Spots map on AV Food Truck Finder shows where they are and when.

Before you order, look for the county letter grade and permit sticker on the truck.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Look for the letter grade. In Lancaster, Palmdale and the rest of the unincorporated AV, food trucks are permitted and inspected by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. A legal truck should show its county permit sticker and a letter grade card. How LA County regulates food trucks
